Enjoy The Brand New Site (And Win Free Gear)
Jun 23, 2014It’s a brand new day over here at The Recording Revolution (at least on the surface). Welcome to the freshly re-designed site (courtesy of David Dewese) – I’d love to give you a little tour.
If you’re new-ish to the “Revolution” then you’ll really enjoy my two resource pages I’ve put together.
If better sounding recordings with the gear you already have is what you’re after then check this page out. If you want to mix like a pro without buying any new plugins, then this page is just for you.
Can I Give You Some Free Gear?
To celebrate this virtual makeover I thought it would be fun to giveaway a bunch of free gear. I’ve got over $1500 worth of stuff to hand out to four lucky fans.
Enter to win below in just seconds. But first, here’s what prizes are up for grabs:
Rode NT1 Microphone – $269
The people at Rode know how to make microphones. I’ve used the older Rode NT1a on just about every record I’ve been a part of in the past 10 years. It’s just that good.
This is the latest incarnation of the classic mic and it rocks. In fact I just got one myself! I personally think every home studio should have one of these in their arsenal of tools.
Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 + Novation Launchkey Mini – $349
I’m a huge fan of Focusrite interfaces and preamps and I currently use their Saffire range in my studio. The Scarlett is a portable AND expandable USB interface that’s ready to rock!
And every home studio needs a simple keyboard controller. Whether you can actually play keys, or you simply bang out a few notes here and there (like me), this Launchkey Mini will open up your DAW to a world of cool sounds and virtual instruments.
IK Multimedia TrackS Grand Bundle – $399
If you ever decide to venture outside of your stock plugins, you’ll get way more bang for your buck if you go with the guys at IK Multimedia.
I actually have the Grand Bundle and it comes with some of my favorite emulations (1176, LA2A, SSL channel) plus a ton of mastering tools. Crazy good stuff here.
Editors Keys Studio Bundle – $500+
Mark Brown (founder of Editors Keys) is an awesome dude with a cool company. Originally designing just his custom keyboards (I have the Pro Tools one) he’s now expanded to a ton of studio gear.
He’s hooking you up with a big ole’ bundle that includes his USB microphone, a portable vocal booth, pop-filter, headphones, and of course a keyboard of your choice.
Here’s How To Enter To Win
The contest will run until this Friday (June 27th) at 11:59 PM EST. All four winners will be chosen and announced next Monday (June 30th).
To enter to win, simply use the widget below. You can do one or all of the steps to enter, and you will get more points (and more chances of winning) the more steps you complete. Super duper easy.
It’s Back To Work For Me
I have been so excited to share this brand new site design with you the past few months. I think it’ll be a much better experience for everyone.
And again, super thankful to the talented (and classy) David Dewese for his design and technical prowess. If you ever need album art or website development/design, hire him.
And I sincerely hope you enter the contest to win one of these killer prizes, so you can make even more awesome music in your studio.
But with all that being said, it’s time for me to get back to work creating the best audio content on the planet. I’ve got some fun stuff planned just for you.
So get ready to continue diving deeper into this “revolution”!
