How should you EQ vocals when mixing? Well every vocal is different so the lame answer is “It Depends”.

However I have a go-to vocal EQ preset that I use on EVERY vocal I mix and you can set one up yourself in just 3 simple steps.

Consider this vocal EQ preset as a starting point for your vocals, but honestly 90% of the time it’s all my vocals need when comes to EQ in the mix.
