Why The Pros Don't Rush Recording
Dec 13, 2018Last week I spent a couple of days in Nashville recording with 3 time Grammy winning producer Jacquire King.
One of the biggest things I noticed was how slow and deliberate he was in the recording phase. Nothing was rushed.
And there’s a big reason why: rushing your recordings only makes mixing harder, slower, and less successful.
Taking your time in the tracking phase leads to better results.
But just going slow isn’t the goal – being intentional is. Today I want to share with you two things Jacquire did (that you can do as well) to capture really great sounding recordings.
